Abstract in English:
This study focuses on the picture of Islamic city under the crusaders’ rule in AL-Shami’s poetry. This research revealed that AL-Shami’s poetry paid a close attention from an ealier time on the danger that threatens Bilad AL- Sham (Great syria), and gave the images of civilizations destruction that was practiced by invaders on the Islamic Architecture beside the occupied cities. This was followed by a military fortification to these cities to be a refuge for the invaders. This study also approaches Ibn AL- qaisarani’s poetry when he visited some of the invaded cities and unraveled the importance of this poetry in portraying the crusaders’ social life.
