Abstract in English:
This paper presents a design for a smart electronic guide for piligrims. The main objective of this system is to help pilgrims to find out their way in the holy places. The proposed system consists of two parts. The first one is a small device that will be given to each person to wear as a watch which shows him the direction he has to follow to reach his camp or other locations in the holy places. The electronic watch has four main components: reciever, microcontroller, compass, and disply unit. The second part is the transmitter which will be fixed at different locations in the holy places and will be used to send important information to pligrims. Moreovere, this system will enable the authority to control the movements of crowds and send precaution massages to pilgrims.
This system will be of great help to Pilgrims and the government. To people it will keep them aware of their places and the government will reduce the efforts devoted to find the whereabouts of the missing people during Hajj
