The Woman Image in “Alkhawarej” Poetry During Umayyad Period
Abstract in English:
This research tries to draw a portrait for women in the “Alkhawarej” poetry
during the “Umayyad” period and clarify their psychology and emotions
towards what is going around them, mainly with reference to ideological as well
social disputes in that period. Moreover, the research came to clarify women’s
attitudes towards conflicting groups with dependence on their poetry and others.
The researcher followed the analytical descriptive method in studying poetry,
due to the fact it is the most suiting for that period.
