Abstract in English:
This study aimed to identify the role of school administrators to limit the
phenomenon of violence in the provinces of Gaza secondary students, and activated
ways from the viewpoint of teachers.
It also aimed to know the role of school administrators in Gaza Strip governorates
for their role in the face of violence from the standpoint of teachers, and how
different estimates of a sample study of the role of their managers in the face of
violence among students, depending on the variables of the study, and the ways of
activating the role of secondary school principals to the reduction of students
violence, according to the study sample of the study.
To respond to the questions of the study the researcher used curriculum
descriptive and analytical, with its steps and procedures and for its relevance to the
nature and the aim of the described and analyzed study. The community of study
consisted of 3166 teachers (males and females), and the sample of the study has
reached 317 teachers (male and females), in which it represents 10% of the whole
com m unity study volume.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed one tool of the
tools which the study questionnaire directed to a sample study, have been formed -
resolution 54 paragraphs, and distributed to the 4 fields related to the subject study :-
1- The role of the administrator manifestations of violence against student.
2- The role of the administrator to promoting the positive behaviors of the
students through close relationship between school and family.
3- The role of the administrator in urging and guidance teachers to reduce
student violence.
4- The role of the administrator in activating the relationship between
the school and community institutions to reduce student
violence.
To verify the veracity of questionnaire used researcher certified arbitrators and
ratified internal consistency. And to verify the stability of the questionnaire used
researcher statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS) in dealing with statements
and for unloading and analysis of the sample responses.
Through analyzing responses of a sample study a researcher discovered the results: - 1.Results of the study showed that the average account of the views of members of
a sample study on the "role of the Director towards the student manifestations of
violence ", besides the average account of the views of members of a sample
study about the "role of the Director in promoting positive behavior, Through a
closer relationship between the school and the family", to all paragraphs area had
reached 3.47 relative weight 69.32 Having recognized the existence of a sample
study the role of the director of the school in this area, at the head of these roles
encourages parents to contact the school continuously. In addition to the average
account of the views of members of the sample study on the role of the Director
in urging and directing teachers to reduce students violence, to all paragraphs
area had reached 3.39 in average of relative weight 67.78 and it's acceptable the
average having recognized the existence of the study sample role of the
headmaster in this area, and on top of these roles broadcasting culture of
teamwork among teachers. Also, the average account of the views of members of
a sample study on "activating the role of a manager in the relationship between
the school and community institutions to reduce the phenomenon of violence", to

all paragraphs area had reached 2.87 relative weight 57.48 was approved by the
study sample in the presence of role this area was relatively low on the previous
three roles, and on top of these roles coordinate with the security agencies to
protect the facilities from sabotage school.
2.There are no statistically significant differences between the teacher's estimate
averages to the role of their managers to reduce the phenomenon of violence in
the provinces of Gaza secondary students due to (changing sex, years of service,
variable directorate).
Accordingly results of this study, the researcher presents a number of
recommendations which hopes would benefit officials and interested in the
subject of the study, as follows:
• The necessity of Organizing educational and outreach programs to reduce
student violence, whether in the form of lectures, symposiums or periodic
bulletins are distributed to parents in order directing them to the best methods in
the educating young people and preparing them well.
• The necessity of Planting and strengthening religious values and principles and
ethics in the hearts of students, through the opening of effective communication
of channels with mosque preachers and clerics and preachers to inform them of
the update events concerning student violence in schools.
• Increasing powers of school administrators and giving them more confidence
and security to maintain the success of educational learning process, particularly
with regard to the dissemination of violent events and special events beyond the
control of management of the school, through the media as a deterrent to those
who had reason for the fabrication and a lesson to those tempted him same
fabricating these problems.
• The necessity to Specify the part of the time of the headmaster to follow the
students problems through complaints Fund, which allows students to inform the
Director of their problems all altruism.
• The necessity of participation of the headmaster in making the mini-exhibitions
and specially to review incidents of school violence, to clarify the causes and
risks, which contribute to modify the behavior of students.
• The necessity to communicate with the students and especially those with violent
behavior, through home visits, to raise their morale and promote their confidence
with themselves.
• The necessity to honor outstanding teachers, especially those who interested in
issues of student violence, both within the school or through cooperation with
the Ministry of Education, and through the various media.
