Summary
Introduction :
Plays an essential role in preparing people in different faculty to meet the demands of scientific research and technological progress in future. Studies point out that there is no specific policy for scientific research that unifies university and research centers to make integral plans for educational research that serve its aims and meet its problems.
Research now stems from personal interests or depends on individual efforts by the researcher to get master or doctorate degree. The results of researches rarely find their ways to the executive authority responsible for applying these results. This results in losing its effect. Besides, there is no research map on the departmental level or faculty level that gathers the educational research and makes it more influential in the educational field.
Study Researches :
Through his reading in studies and scientific dissertations in Faculty of Education in Mansoura, the researcher found no study that establishes a map for educational researches at the level of Dakahleia Governorate aims at summerizing the most important problems and difficulties of schools and educational sectors and providing new master or doctorate students with information.
Study Problem :
Study questions may be combined to constitute the following main question :
"How to establish form a research map that serves the educational field, helps new researchers to choose topics of their dissertations which contribute to solve the educational problems of schools?"
This question is analyzed to the following questions :
1- What is the present status of scientific research in Egypt?
2- What is the problems of the educational field ?
3- What is the outlines of a research map that deal with and clarify the problems of educational field ?
Study Objectives :
The present study aims at :
1- Determining the most important problems and difficulties from which the pre-university education suffers in Dakahleia schools and educational sectors.
2- Helping new researchers to study a problem that is actually suffered by the education in Dakahleia and that exists in the suggested research map to serve future dissertations directly in the educational field.
3- Guiding educational research towards solving educational problems.
4- Trying out/establish/form a map for educational research to make the educational research, like the dissertations, more effective and efficient in the educational field instead of the researchers that the educational
field directly.
Study Importance :
The importance of the present study appears through the following:
1- This study shows the importance of higher studies sector which has a great importance in the structure of university education.
2- Many studies point out that there is a real crisis that faces the educational research in faculties of education and there is a bad need for a strong, organized and intensive effort to enhance the educational research toward achieving society aims and development.
3- Many studies points out that there is on national research map at the level of faculties of education or within faculties. This makes educational research depends on individual directions of the master or doctorate students.
Method :
This study uses the analytical descriptive method that depends on observing and analyzing the problem. The researcher uses some statistical techniques through which the researcher analyzed data and interpreted its results to analyze the present status and forming a suggested map for educational research that contribute in developing and solving the educational
field problems.
Tools :
The researcher uses there questionnaires that are presented to teachers, administers and supervisors who work in schools following the Ministry
of Education.
Sample :
The study was administeres on random sample consists of teachers, administrator and supervisors working in schools following the Ministry
of Education.
Limitations of the Study :
1- The study sample will be limited on public primary, preparatory and secondary schools in Dakahleia Governorate.
2- The suggested research map will be limited on topics, areas and concerns of the educational departments in Faculty of Education.
Study Steps and Study Results :
This study aims at forming a research map that swmmerizes and clarifies the most important problems and difficulties that face pre-university education in order to help new researchers when studying educational problems regarding different educational branches (Foundations of Education, Curriculum and Teaching Methods, educational Psychology, Education Technology). To achieve this goal, the steps of the study are defined as follows :
1- First Step : which is presented in chapter one which seals with the main / general framework of the study and includes the study definition, reasons for choosing the problem, objectives, importance, method, limitations of the study and study terms.
2- Second Step : Presented in chapter two which discusses previous studies and Discusses previous studies on preparing research map. The researcher focuses on the section and distinguishes between it and the present study.
3- Third Step : Appears in chapter three which discusses the educational scientific research and its concept, objectives / goals, kinds, areas and ways of gathering data and information about it. The researcher concludes in the chapter which methods to enhance educational scientific research in Egypt .
4- Fourth Step : Presented in chapter four which discusses the field study procedures, study objectives, tools, and study sample which is consisted of (teacher, administrators and supervisors) to facilitate recognizing the present status through problems of pre-university education. The researcher determines, through the field study – the size of problem and difficulties that the pre-university education suffers from.
5- Fifth Step : Presented in chapter five which discusses establishing a suggested form for the research map which summarizes and clarifies the most important problems and difficulties from which the pre-university education suffers and helps new researchers when preparing their future dissertations.
