Abstract: The importance of the present research stems from the fact that it tends to shed light on preventive safety measures and their impact on controlling of fire in hotels. the present research seeks to achieve for the following objectives: Identifying of reasons contributing to the fire accidents in tourism hotels of Aswan city, Cognizance on the relative availability of preventive safety measures undertaken to ensure the protection of tourism hotels in Aswan city, identifying on the relative availability of the systems capabilities, safety resources in tourism hotels, identifying on the relative attention given by the tourism hotels managements at the Aswan city in applying preventive safety measures, identifying on the relative care provided by the guest of tourism hotels in applying preventive safety measures, identifying on the relative cognizance of the personnel and management associated with the tourism hotels at Aswan city on preventive safety measures, the present study has sought to address the following questions: what are the reasons that account fire accidents in the tourism hotels at Aswan city, what are the preventive safety measures are relatively available in the tourism hotels at Aswan city, what is the systems capabilities, safety resources and fire extinguishers are relatively available in the tourism hotels at Aswan city, to what extent attention is given by the tourism hotels at Aswan city in applying preventive safety measures, to what extent care is extended by the guest of the tourism hotels at Aswan city towards preventive safety measures, to what extent is the cognizance existent among employee associated with the tourism hotels at Aswan city towards preventive safety measures, and the present research has yielded many findings, the most salient are as under: reasons leading to the eruption of fire accidents in tourism hotels are in higher degree. the availability of preventive security measures in tourism hotels are in rising degree, included in such measures are location and structural design; electric and gas extensions and appliances. Availability of systems capabilities, safety resources and fire extinguishers in tourism hotels are in average degree. attention provided by the tourism hotels management towards applying preventive security measures is of average extent. care assigned by the guest of the tourism hotels at the Aswan city towards preventive security measures is of average degree. recognizance by the employees with the tourism hotels towards preventive security measures is also is average degree.
